Historical facts
Nexia was the first car of the South Korean Company. Nexia was brought into the world due to Opel Kadett E that had been produced in Germany from 1984 to 1991. The first samples of Opel model made by the license came off Daewoo assembly line in 1986.
Lanos car was developed and put into production within 30 months and cost 420 million dollars for the Company. This is the first own design of Daewoo Company.
Daewoo Nubira model (translated from Korean as «to travel round the world») appeared by the end of 1994. Work on the model started in 1993 and lasted for 32 months.
